A major milestone on the road to the PYROCO2 demonstrator!
After many months of collaboration, engineering and manufacturing, the construction of the first set of reactors developed by BPT with its partners Parcitank and Tecalsa in Spain has officially been completed.
SINTEF, BPT and Parcitank were present for the final sign-off to start the transport from Spain to Norway by road and sea.
This first shipment marks an important step towards the realization of the PYROCO2 demonstration plant, where innovative technologies for CO₂ utilization will be validated at a larger scale.
The arrival and installation of the equipment at SINTEF’s facilities at Tiller will pave the way for the next phases of the project: integration, commissioning and demonstration activities. This will bring PYROCO2 one step closer to delivering sustainable carbon utilization solutions for industry.
A great achievement made possible through the dedication and close collaboration of the entire PYROCO2 consortium.
